Self-initiated concept study / 2026
A quieter kind of escape.

01 / THE QUESTION
How can an independent coastal retreat feel distinctive before a guest arrives? The brief imagines a small hotel competing on atmosphere and personal attention rather than scale. Its identity needs to translate from a first online impression to the smallest detail of a stay.
02 / THE DIRECTION
Make space the signature. A restrained wordmark, architectural photography and an oxblood accent give the concept a calm but recognizable character. Short, sensory writing replaces generic luxury language. The proposed digital journey moves from place to rooms to a clear availability inquiry.
ONE IDEA. A DISTINCT CHARACTER.
A quieter kind of escape.
03 / DESIGN DECISIONS
A retreat for considered travel, with place and pace at its center.
Oxblood, mineral white and generous typography across guest touchpoints.
Place → rooms → practical details → availability. One clear next step.
Natural light, tactile materials and architecture with room to breathe.
